Back in the 80s, Juan Campos, a typographer in Madrid, decided to undertake a new challenge with his family, to come to Valdepeñas to set up a printing press.
In those exciting years of creating the business, Juan Campos and his son Juan Carlos Campos, who later took over the reins of the business and its staff (some people even from the family), had to experience long hours of work in order to provide service to the entire extensive wine industry that demanded orders for labels.
We managed to take the step from Typography to Offset, becoming expert pioneers in many km. around, in wet offset printing technology. It was at this time that we saw a significant market volume in the label world and we began to specialize in all types of labels. We went from being located in practically a garage, to being able to build a factory in the first Valdepeñas Industrial Park, with more than 1,000M2.
Time passed and we managed to emerge after numerous economic crises in the country, numerous changes in the graphic arts industry, in society, in markets and in personnel.
It was at that moment when Carlos Campos, current manager of the business, grandson of Juan Campos and son of Juan Carlos Campos, together with the support of his family, decided to become fully involved in the company, developing together an important technological renovation project. improvement of facilities and creation of new market niches.
We have recently inaugurated a new plant in Pol. Ind. Entrecaminos, with 4,000M2 of land and 3,000M2 of facilities built. And according to the Plimsoll report "Manufacture and printing of labels (Spain, 2021)", it shows that Color Graphic Labels S.L. It is among the 150 largest companies in the label manufacturing and printing sector in Spain and also occupies the 21st position among the companies operating in this market with the highest pre-Covid profit margin, which reflects its performance and resilience in comparison with other relevant industry players.
